JUBILEE YEAR 2007

August 28, 2007 marked the 150 th anniversary of Salomo Wuorio's birth.

To mark the jubilee year, the Gerda and Salomo Wuorio Foundation distributed 40,000 euros to each of its seven beneficiary organizations as a special jubilee year grant in addition to the annual share of 38,000 euros.

To mark the jubilee year, the Gerda and Salomo Wuorio Foundation published a jubilee book, called “Seinät kertovat – Salomo Wuorio 150 vuotta” ( The Walls Tell a Tale – Salomo Wuorio 150 years ).
